Privacy and your profile

otherpeople is operated by Nicholas Tan. This release lets you verify your email, prepare a private profile and wait for network access. It does not run AI inference, match people or share profiles with other members.

We store your email, the answers you submit, your reviewed profile, account preferences and necessary security records. Vercel hosts the application; Supabase stores account and profile data in Singapore; Brevo delivers sign-in and account emails and processes email delivery and link activity. Sanity stores public website content. These providers may process technical information in other countries. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your profile.

Your reviewed waiting profile stays until you delete your account. Unfinished profiles are removed after 30 days without activity. Preparation messages are removed after 30 days; facts you reviewed remain with your profile. Sign-in continuations expire after 24 hours. Daily maintenance may add up to one day to these periods.

You can correct or export your profile, remove the conversation and request account deletion in Account settings. Deletion immediately blocks account use, then removes application records and authentication. Failed removals are retried. Encrypted recovery copies expire after seven days and are removed by daily maintenance, which can add up to one day; restricted deletion records are kept to prevent a restored backup from bringing deleted accounts back. Infrastructure providers have their own security-log and residual-backup policies.

Sign-in and essential account/access emails are part of the service. Product news is optional. Please do not submit passwords, sensitive personal information, confidential third-party material or details you lack permission to share.

For privacy questions or assistance, contact the operator. This notice applies to registration only. Additional information and your review will be required before networking is enabled.
